Venous Anatomy of the Chest and Right Arm - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This is a single custom board exhibit that describes a general look at the venous anatomy of the right arm and chest in three views.\r\n\r\nThe first image shows how the veins of the right arm connect into the superior vena cava. The main veins are labelled including the external and internal jugular veins, the right subclavian vein, and cephalic, basilic, and brachial veins in the outstretched arm.\r\n\r\nThe second image shows just the anterior chest, but the heart has been ghosted to show the azygos, hemiazygos, and accessory hemiazygos veins behind it.\r\n\r\nThe third image is a side view hemilateral view through the right lung. This is to show how the azygos vein branches off of the superior vena cava and curves around the back of the aorta and down.
